No intention to form or join any political party: Hardik Patel
Udaipur: Gujarat's Patidar quota agitation spearhead Hardik Patel on Sunday said he has no intention to join any political party and is raising demand of reservation under constitutional limit.
After reaching Udaipur to spend six months, Mr Patel said that he neither has any intention to join any political party nor to form any party but he will continue to work for the social cause.
When asked whether he will go to Uttar Pradesh for campaigning against BJP, Patel, who is staying in the house of a former Congress MLA in Udaipur, said that he would not do so.
However, Patel told reporters, he will unite his community people wherever they are.
He said other issues like that of farmers and marginal people and corruption should also be raised and given priority.
Patel, who was released from jail in Gujarat after nine months in confinement, has to stay outside Gujarat for six months as per Gujarat high court direction and he will be in Udaipur during this period.
