Jana Sena to bring down criminal empire of Kakinada MLA Dwarampudi: Pawan Kalyan

KAKINADA: In a highly emotional and no-holds-barred attack on Kakinada MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara, Jana Sena chief and film star Pawan Kalyan on Sunday vowed to defeat the “Dacoit’’ in Kakinada Urban constituency in the coming elections.

“If I don’t achieve the target, you need not call me Pawan Kalyan,’’ he said.

Speaking at a Varahi Yatra public meeting in Kakinada on Sunday night, Pawan Kalyan came down heavily on the Kakinada MLA. Shaking with emotion and clapping his thigh, Pawan Kalyan said, “The downfall starts for Dwarampudi from here.”

He also issued a warning to Dwarampudi, saying, “Your days are numbered and a day will come soon. You will be dragged through the streets of Kakinada with hand-cuffs to jail. You can’t get away with your criminal acts’’.

He described Chandrasekhara Reddy as a criminal, goon, dacoit and illegal PDF rice exporter.’’ He added, “I will put an end to his criminal empire in Kakinada.”

He said YSRC MLAs and leaders claimed that Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara was a “Chief Minister for the combined East and West Godavari Districts’’.

Pawan Kalyan said that a file has been opened against Chandrasekhara at the Union Home Ministry. “Amit Shah said in a recent meeting in Visakhapatnam that the law and order situation in Andhra Pradesh is very dangerous,” PK noted.

From Araku to Tuni through Paderu, ganja is smuggled. Dwarampudi has made Kakinada a drug and ganja city and many youths are addicted to drugs and ganja, the JS leader said.

He alleged that Dwarampudi and his family illegally earned '15,000 crore in the past four years through illegal rice exports, illegal sand and soil mining and other illegal activities.

PK described Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara as a binami of chief minister Jagan Reddy.

The actor-turned politician also warned the criminal gangs working under the Kakinada MLA of stringent action against them in future when he “gains power.”

Pawan said that when DT Naick was SP in East Godavari district, he had dragged Chandrasekhara Reddy's grandfather and father by tieing them with rope to a police jeep and then sent them in handcuffs to jail. " Chandrasekhara would also face the same fate,’’ he said.

He called upon the youths and the people of Kakinada to videograph the illegal acts of the Kakinada MLA and send them to the Union home minister, state DGP and Jana Sena office.

Pawan Kalyan said the law and order situation in AP under CM Jagan was precarious. According to the National Bureau of Crime Records, more than 32,000 girls and women had been missing from AP up to the year 2021. Though the police said that there was a 60 per cent recovery rate, 40 per cent of the women and girls were untraceable after they went missing, he said.

He cited the example of the Visakhapatnam MP’s family that was kidnapped the other day by a local gangster. A number of women in Araku and Paderu are being kidnapped and pushed into human trafficking, he alleged.
