Congress uses videos to nail KCR lies'
Adilabad: The Congress is using video clippings and new technologies to expose the false promises made by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao during the Telangana agitation.
Congress leaders are showing video recordings of the public meetings addressed by Mr Rao as TRS president and promises made by him, including Dalit CM, regularisation of services of private employees, creating over 1 lakh jobs, 3-acre land to Dalits and 2BHK houses for the poor if the TRS was voted to power.
These clippings are beamed from projectors to highlight Mr Rao’s failure, partial or in full, to keep the promises he made.
Recently, former minister C. Ramchander Reddy took pains to explain the difference between the Korata Chanaka barrage and earlier proposed Penganga irrigation project by using maps and screening the a recorded speech of Mr Rao by using the projector during the press conference.
The Congress also screened a recording where Mr Rao is seen promising to make a Dalit the first Chief Minister of Telangana state.
According to Congress sources, the TPCC has planned to screen such video clippings in selected villages to expose the hollowness of Mr Rao’s promises and how the TRS in general and Mr Rao in particular “cheated and hoodwinked the people”.
The Congress think tank is busy compiling information regarding the promises and statements made by Mr Rao.
Mr Ramchandra Reddy said they are preparing material to expose Mr Rao’s double stands starting his ‘Dalit Chief Minister’ promise that he made umpteen times and also his promise that his children will not hold any political positions and will remain in the USA.
He hoped that people would realise the autocratic attitude of Mr Rao on seeing the video clippings.
