Guntur, Krishna district MLAs want Andhra Pradesh offices in their segments

They believe that it would boost their image in their constituencies.

Vijayawada: The legislators of city surroundings and Guntur are very keen to establish state offices in their respective constituency limits.

They believe that it would boost their image in their constituencies. Now Penamaluru TD MLA Bode Prasad offered to the government departments that if they set up their state office in his constituency, he would take care of site allotment from the state government for needs of offices.

Already, minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, MLA Gadde Rammohan Rao also recommended some buildings for state office purposes. Likewise, MLA Jaleel Khan too requested the officials to set up some offices in his respective constituency limits.

According to ongoing developments, now the MLAs are also involved in establishing the state government offices. Earlier, the legislators were not involved in setting up offices. But later, the people of the constituencies requested the MLAs take steps to bring some offices to their areas.

K. Srinivasa Rao, a native of Poranki village, said that if one state office comes to their village, nearly 200 employees would come to their area. Villages would get a boost with the setting up of offices and people could visit them for their needs.

Actually, the location for revenue and CCLA office was finalised at Gollapudi of Krishna district. Irrigation minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao resides in the village and it comes under his Mylavaram constituency limits. It is a very important office for the needs of people.

Agriculture minister P. Pulla Rao also recommended several locations based on their demand of their kith and kin.

Later, Wakf office building was finalised in the limits of MLA Jaleel Khans constituency limits at Óne Town. Besides, Penamaluru MLA Bode Prasad said that nearly six acres of land would be allotted if any government department comes to set up office permanently in their limits. The legislators are keeping an eye on the mood of the people when they feel some advantage to their areas from the government offices.
