Ministers demand arrest of Naidu for violation of GO-1

KAKINADA: Roads and Building Minister Dadisetty Raja, BC Welfare Minister Srinivasa Venugopalakrishna and former agriculture minister Kurasala Kannababu demanded on Friday that the government arrest the Telugu Desam chief and former chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu as he violated GO-1 and court orders.

They criticised Naidu for holding a public meeting at Devichowk though the police did not give him permission. Venu said Naidu violated the police restrictions.

Dadisetty Raja said though the police made it clear to Chandrababu that GO -1 was being enforced and there were high court directions against holding meetings on roads, Naidu did not take heed. He said Naidu staged a drama on the road at Anaparthi.

Kannababu said Naidu crossed the line in view of the “Z’’ category security he enjoyed. Chandrababu showed a lack of sense even after 11 persons died in his previous meeting.
