Srinivasprasad targets CM Siddaramaiah and his dushta koota'

It is a fact that Siddaramaiah has been paying off the high command to save his position: Srinivasprasad.

Mysuru: Continuing his tirade against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, veteran leader and former Revenue Minister V. Srinivasprasad, who quit the Congress in a huff to join the Bharatiya Janata Party after he was sacked from the Cabinet, on Friday backed his party president’s claim that his one-time friend was paying off the Congress’ national leaders to save his gaddi.

“It is a fact that Siddaramaiah has been paying off the high command to save his position. Otherwise considering all the developments in the Congress, he should have quit long ago. In order to fund the Congress high command, Siddaramaiah has formed a vice ring (dushta koota) and Digvijay Singh is leading it,” he claimed, speaking to reporters here.

Once again hitting out at Mr Siddaramaiah for addressing him in the singular at a recent press conference, Mr Srinivasprasad said, “The Chief Minister doesn’t know how to preserve the dignity of his position. He has changed the culture of the post. I felt ashamed to even sit next to him when he was opposition leader because of the language he used. It is quite unfortunate that he has become the Chief Minister of this state,” he added.
