Vijayawada: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy cleared financial assistance for 20 people who are suffering from various ailments.
After the CM addressed a public meeting at the Varikapudishila lift irrigation project site, many people met him at the Spandana programme organised near the helipad and submitted their grievances.
The Chief Minister directed district collector L Sivashankar to respond to the grievances immediately.
Accordingly, the collector examined the applications and immediately announced financial assistance of ₹1 lakh each to 20 people. The patients were also handed over the cheques of these amounts.
The beneficiaries are Nutalapati Rani Kumari, Venkata Siva Parvathi, Ginjupalli Mokshita, T. Mokshagna, P. Nageswar Reddy, B. Emanuel, B. Ramesh Naik, Ramesh Babu, A. Venkata Siva Sai Akshay, B. Gunji Prasad, Macherla Nissi Priya, P. Sai Teja, Ramana Durga Rao, K. Anji Reddy, Syed Jasmin, Battula Swamy, K. Ramalakshmi, Katakam Jayasri, J. Venkata Surya Gopichand and P. Ravi Kumar.
