TRS using police, money, fake voters in bid to win, charges Etala

KCR promised jobs before elections and now, the mother of these youth are worried that their children are roaming on the roads

KARIMNAGAR: The TRS is trying to deceive people with false promises, misusing police and deploying money and fake voters to win Huzurabad by-elections. But voters will defeat all these machinations on October 30, declared former minister and BJP candidate Etala Rajendar on Saturday.

Addressing a public meeting as part of his campaign, he pointed out that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has deceived unemployed youth after promising them jobs in the run-up to the general elections. He pointed out that mothers of these youth are worried, seeing their educated children roaming on roads without jobs.

On welfare minister Koppula Eshwar and Chennur MLA Balka Suman declaring that Rajendar may stage an attack on himself to gain sympathy, the BJP candidate said it is a fact that ruling TRS is planning an attack on him sensing his grand victory in the by-elections. “They are preparing ground by first blaming me,” he remarked, wondering how many gimmicks TRS leaders will perform.

“Even if they distribute Rs 1 lakh per vote and MLAs hand over liquor bottles to people, TRS is not going to win Huzurabad. People have come to hate ruling party leaders and will teach them a fitting lesson,” Rajendar declared.

BJP district unit president Rao Padma, mandal in-charge Srisailam Goud and Venu Gopal Reddy were among those present with the former minister.
