Revanth slams KCR over defection

HYDERABAD: TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday accused Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao of encouraging dissidents and alleged that the TRS had started luring Congress’ local body public representatives in Munugode constituency for the bypolls. Revanth Reddy, who is in Covid-19 quarantine, released a video requesting Congress leaders and cadre in Munugode not to leave the party. “We fought the TRS government and NDA-led BJP government at the Centre for eight years. The Congress will come to power in the next general elections,” Revanth Reddy said. The TPCC chief alleged that TRS leaders were contacting Congress sarpanches, MPTCs and MPPs in Munugode and offering them packages to lure them. He demanded that the Chief Minister put an end to this practice.
