K Chandrasekhar Rao convenes all-party meeting on August 20

The government has decided to invite two representatives each from the TRS, Congress, AIMIM, BJP, CPI, CPM and Telugu Desam.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has convened the much-awaited all-party meeting on Saturday, August 20 to discuss the creation of new districts in the state. This would be followed by the Cabinet meeting.

The government has decided to invite two representatives each from the TRS, Congress, AIMIM, BJP, CPI, CPM and Telugu Desam. The meeting will begin at the Secretariat at 2 pm.

Members of Cabinet subcommittee, Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma, CCLA and senior officials will participate.

Sources said Mr Rao will place the report of officials on formation of new districts and the report of the subcommittee before the Cabinet for approval.
