Adilabad: Alleging that the state government was taking up irrigation projects without analysing the cost vis-a-vis the benefits, Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh said the party would explore legal options to obtain the Detailed Project Reports of all projects taken up by the TS government
Mr Singh alleged that there was huge corruption in the redesigning of irrigation projects and state government was taking up new projects to get commissions from contractors by 'jacking up' the cost of projects, instead of completing the pending ones. He was addressing a ‘Rythu Garjana’ meeting in Adilabad.
Mr Singh said that gradually, the situation is changing as the people were started to realise the true colours of the Chief Minister.
