Jogu Ramanna dares Revanth on Telangana poll win

ADILABAD: Adilabad BRS MLA Jogu Ramanna on Friday said he would commit suicide by hanging if the Congress came to power in the state. He challenged TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy to do likewise if the Congress lost the polls.

Addressing the media here, Ramanna said Revanth Reddy was caught in broad daylight while giving a bribe in a cash for votes case, and had acted as a servant to former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Ramanna warned Revanth Reddy against taking his surname name and insulting him. He said the TPCC chief was insulting because he belonged to the Backward Classes community.

He demanded that Revanth Reddy tender an unconditional apology for insulting him. Ramanna said Revanth Reddy had insulted B.R. Ambedkar by not garlanding his statue in Adilabad.
