CPM can't benefit from murder politics: Kummanam Rajasekharan

Mr Rajasekharan asked the LDF allies to express their opinion on CPM's murder politics.

BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan said on Wednesday that the CPM was living in a fool’s paradise thinking that they could come to power by unleashing violence. Inaugurating a protest before the Secretariat against CPM’s attack on BJP supporters at Kattaikonam, he said they should seriously ponder over what they had gained so far from murder politics.

The condition of Amal Krishna, 26, of Changanassery, who underwent a neurosurgery at a private hospital after the attack, remained critical.

Mr Rajasekharan asked the LDF allies to express their opinion on CPM’s murder politics. He said CPM should make it clear what sort of revolutionary ideas they were practicing by killing innocent labourers and common people.

“CPM leaders have become the paragon of violence. Their cadres should have a rethinking on their leaders’ antics. The coming elections offer a choice between peaceful and murderous politics. Congress is protecting them,” he said.

He also took a dig at the CPM leadership saying they have not even spared attacking the statue of P. Krishna Pillai and hence it didn’t come as a surprise when they resorted to attacking ordinary people.

BJP national general secretary H. Raja, senior BJP leader O. Rajagopal, BJP national executive member P. K. Krishnadas, general secretaries A. N. Radhakrishnan and Sobha Surendran, senior RSS leader P. R. Sasidharan and other local and state level RSS leaders also participated.
