Nirmal: Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS) president Prof. M Kodandaram alleged that the TRS had redesigned the irrigation projects, including Kaleshwaram, to benefit Andhra contractors. He was addressing a public meeting at Khanapur and Bhainsa. Kondaram said caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had wasted crores of public money on Bathukamma celebrations.
He said people must stand up against the anarchic rule and to achieve social Telangana. He criticised Mr Rao for his failure to fulfil the promises he made during the elections.
Prof. Kodandaram paid rich tributes to BR Ambedkar and Telangana martyrs and garlanded their statues in Bhainsa town. TJS ticket aspirants from Khanapur and Bhainsa, Bheem Rao and Ramakrishna Goud, respectively, participated in the rallies and meetings.
