In his tweet, Mr Siddaramaiah said Mr Shah is a “wicked insider in a joint family who finds ways to break the unity.”

Bengaluru: Hitting out at Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s remarks on making Hindi a common language for the country, former chief minister, Siddaramaiah on Sunday took to twitter and slammed him remarking, “this home wrecker needs to be taught a lesson for dividing this country.”

In his eight part hard-hitting tweets, Mr Siddaramaiah touched upon a range of issues, including flood relief, and hit out at state BJP leaders and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well.

In his tweet, Mr Siddaramaiah said Mr Shah is a “wicked insider in a joint family who finds ways to break the unity.”

He added that the India has a rich history and diverse geography and there is a need to embrace the country's diversity to remain united. While lashing out at the young MP from Bengaluru South, Tejasvi Surya, Mr Siddaramaiah caustically remarked in his tweet that a wise man once said, Ignorance is the root and stem of all evil.

“RRBs are not the only exams ppl are applying for. IBPS has notified a vacancy for which exams are only in English &Hindi, leaving large pool of non-hindi aspirants handicapped. Hope you understand the difference,” he said.

Surya had reportedly said that the Centre was considering allowing aspirants to write the RRB exams in Kannada.

Ridiculed him further, the Kuruba strongman quipped,

“Moreover, exams for RRBs were held in regional languages till your vile duo assumed power in 2014 & who later changed it to only English & Hindi. Get your spine corrected & stand for the interests of the people who you represent.”
