Hyderabad is common capital, hits back TD

This is not at another country and the AP police has the right to work in Hyderabad as it is a common capital.

Hyderabad: The Congress slammed the TRS for alleging that the AP Intelligence police was camping in Hyderabad. TS Congress general secretary Dr Dasoju Sravan alleged that the TRS was playing a cheap political game.

Speaking to mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Dr Sravan said, “It is shame that the TRS has stated that the AP Intelligence has set up camp in Hyderabad. He should remember that Hyderabad is the common capital for both Telugu states. This is not at another country and the AP police has the right to work in Hyderabad as it is a common capital.”

“As the elections are nearing the TRS has started to divide the locals and people from AP again,” Dr Sravan said. Taking on the TRS for alleging that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was against Telangana state, Dr Sravan said, “Didn’t TRS leaders remember that Mr Naidu was against Telangana when Mr Rao went to his house or when he was invited for the Chandi Yagam?”

Dr Sravan said, “The students of Osmania University are the right ones to say why KCR must leave the Chief Minister’s chair. If KTR dares to go to the university, he can easily find the reason why there is a dissatisfaction against the TRS government.”

Dr Sravan said that except for four family members of Mr Chandrasekhar Raa, no one in the state wanted to see him as Chief Minister.

Dr Sravan said 45 lakh unemployed youth had not got jobs and about 4,500 farmers had committed suicide due to debts. Many poor people had voted for the TRS expecting to get double bedroom houses but these had not been given.

He said Dalits and tribals had not got the three acres of land that was promised to them. He said Muslims were cheated by the TRS government which did not provide them 12 per cent reservations.

Dr Sravan asked how Mr Chandrasekhar Rao, who was said to be suffering from viral fever, could go to meet Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan. “He fell sick when he had to visit the victims of the Kondagattu bus accident. This is not the way a Chief Minister should behave”, he added.
