Vijayawada: BJP state chief Somu Veerraju called for developing Andhra Pradesh as a golden state in a symbolic manner.

Hoisting the national flag at the party’s state office here on Monday, the BJP chief laid stress to fulfil the dreams of former prime minister Atal Bihar Vajpayee and explained about the way how Prime Minister Narendra Modi was developing basic amenities in the country. He felt the need for development of ports and wished that once the settting up of industrial corridors was completed, it would help generate employment.

He condemned pelting of stones on Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay while he was taking up padayatra and alleged that the TRS was doing so, unable to bear the kind of support the BJP was getting. He held the police responsible for the lapse.
