CHENNAI: The DMK president M K Stalin on Monday personally called on the nonagenarian Marxist veteran leader N. Sankaraiah at the latter's residence in Pallavaram here and greeted him on his 98th birthday.
Mr. Stalin offered a shawl to the CPI(M) senior and recalled his contributions to the cause of the poor and the working class. The DMK Rajya Sabha MP, Sri Alandur Bharathi and DMK's Pallavaram MLA, E Karunanidhi, accompanied the DMK leader.
