Kottayam: Kerala Congress (D) Chairman Francis George has challenged former finance minister and Kerala Congress (M) leader K.M. Mani to release the probe report submitted by the KC(M) committee on the alleged conspiracy against Mr. Mani that resulted in the bar bribery case.
While speaking to reporters at Kottayam press club on Friday, Mr. George said, "If at all there is something called a conspiracy report, Mr. Mani should show the courage to release it before the public." Mr. Francis George, who was also a member of the inquiry commission deputed by the KC(M) after the bar bribe case sprung up, said that many personal opinions were presented before the commission but hardly any evidence. "Why should Mr. Mani hold back the report if he believes that he is innocent," asked Mr. George.
