No India without Hindutva: Bandi

HYDERABAD: Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar has reiterated that the issue of Hindutva remains at the core of unity in India and Hindutva remains an important electoral plank in the country.

A day after he and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Sarma Biswa led a Hindu Ekta Yatra in Karimnagar, Sanjay took to Twitter and said the event was part of continuing efforts to unite Hindus. “All those who speak against Hindutva and say talking about it will not help a party come to power, should have witnessed the gathering at Sunday’s yatra. Had it not been for Hindutva, India would have been broken up into pieces, and become like Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh. There is no India without Hindutva,” he said.

The Hindu Ekta Yatra is inspired by Bal Gangadhar Tilak’s Ganesh festival celebrations to unite Hindus, and the effort now is to unite Hindus in Telangana and work for establishing ‘Rama Rajya,” Sanjay said.

Recalling the recent incident of suspension of a sub-inspector police in Jagtial, Sanjay said this should be an eye-opener for people along with the fact that a “terrorist was appointed as an HoD in Owaisi’s medical college. It is time to teach a lesson to all such persons and in just about five months, those who said it will just take them 15 minutes to wipe us off, will be seen scurrying for cover,” Sanjay said.
