First time, Kerala governor P Sathasivam to cast vote in Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram: One of the star voters in the capital city is governor justice P. Sathasivam. He will have a serial number of 1267 at the booth number 68 of the 1267. The governor along with his wife Ms. Saraswathy Sathasivam will be voting at Government LP School, Jawahar Nagar.
They will start from Raj Bhavan at 8.25 am and hope to vote at 8.30 am on May 16. They are voters of Vattiyoorkavu constituency. As per Raj Bhavan records, this is for the first time that a Kerala governor and his wife are going to cast their votes in an election here.
Governor and his wife had earlier enrolled as a voters in the electoral list through an online process. Thiruvananthapuram Latin Catholic Archbishop M. Soosapakiam is also a voter at Government LP School, Jawahar Nagar.
Another prominent voter of the city, Cardinal Cleemis, Major Archbishop of the Syro-Malankara Church and head of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI), would vote at 8 a.m. at Government Girls HSS, Pattom. District collector Biju Prabhakar will vote around 11.30 a.m at Abraham Memorial School, Thirumala.
