The FIR was filed by officers of the flying squad of Hassan parliamentary constituency.

Hassan: In a major embarrassment to PWD minister H D Revanna’s son and JD (S) candidate Prajwal R, a First Information Report (FIR) was registered against him in Hallimysuru police station on charge of seeking votes in the name of caste, on Monday.

The FIR was filed following directions from deputy commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis in the aftermath of a speech by Mr Prajwal at Doddakadanuru village of Hallimysuru hobli in Holenarsipura taluk on Sunday, April 7.
