Build a memorial for Rosaiah, Revanth urges CM
Hyderabad: Political leaders, bureaucrats and people from across fields paid rich tributes to former chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh K. Rosaiah here on Wednesday.
His family members organised Vaikunta Samaradhana Samsmarana sabha in his memory. Political leaders from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh attended the meeting and recalled their memories of the Congress stalwart.
TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy said that Rosaiah was a very efficient administrator and a role-model for the present generation. Stating that he was an extraordinary trouble-shooter, Reddy urged Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to construct a memorial for Rosaiah in Hyderabad.
CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, senior leaders K. Jana Reddy, KVP Ramchandra Rao, J.C. Diwakar Reddy, N. Raghuveera Reddy, CPI leader Chada Venkat Reddy, Ambati Ram Babu, Bigala Ganesh Gupta, T. Subbarami Reddy, V. Hanumantha Rao, J. Geeta Reddy paid homage to Rosaiah. DGP M. Mahender Reddy, senior IAS officers and others were also present.
