Sujatha rebukes Kandi over derogatory remarks
ADILABAD: TPCC general secretary Gadrath Sujatha, who recently resigned from the Congress, on Tuesday warned Congress candidate Kandi Srinivas Reddy of beating him with footwear for his derogatory remarks against her.
During the election campaign in Bela two days ago, Srinivas Reddy told people to teach a lesson to Sujatha like that of God Laxmana who cut the nose of demoness Soorpanakha. He also alleged that Sanjeev Reddy, the independent candidate, and his supporters took bribes from BRS candidate Jogu Ramanna.
The video of his comments went viral.
Speaking to the media, along with Sanjeev Reddy and Sajid Khan, Sujatha dared Kandi to prove his allegations. If he fails, she warned him to slap him with a slipper.
Edifying him to behave like a human, she said that Kandi had insulted the entire womenfolk and BC communities. She added that a complaint was lodged with the police and Chief Election Officer seeking disqualification of his candidature for violating the election code of conduct.
