Sajjala slams Naidu for misinformation campaign' against YSRC

Vijayawada: YSRC general-secretary and government adviser on public affairs, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has slammed Telugu Desam chief Chandrababu Naidu, his son Lokesh and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for the current flurry of misinformation campaign against the YSRC government.

“They are doing this instead of reaching out to the people to promise them what they would to if elected to power in the next elections,” he said.

Speaking to the media on Monday, the YSRC leader flayed the TD chief for writing letters to the President and PM, seeking a CBI probe into suspected “attempts to kill him.” Naidu was against the CBI and banned its entry to AP but now he wants the CBI to come here. “Naidu is suffering from some serious health problems resulting in such abnormal behaviour,” Sajjala said.

He said there was nothing wrong in Naidu visiting irrigation projects and raising issues over their construction, but it would be unfair to target the state government on one pretext of one reason or another.

He also flayed Pawan Kalyan for making “baseless” allegations against the state government during his visit to Rushikonda. How could constructions be taken up without obtaining CRZ permission, he asked and advised PK to get information through RTC or get the details from Naidu.

If a government building was constructed on Rushikonda, how could it personally benefit the CM? “It is not Jagan Mohan Reddy’s own land. The land belongs to the government. Once the construction of government buildings is completed, the government would decide how it would be made use of.”

He advised the Opposition parties to focus more on what they could do if elected to power in the upcoming elections instead of targeting their government with baseless allegations.

He reiterated that, as part of decentralisation of governance, CM Jagan would shift his base to Visakhapatnam anytime and start governance from there.
