No need to attack KCR, says Telangana Congress incharge
Hyderabad: TS Congress incharge R.C. Kuntia said his first priority was to set the Congress house in order while simultaneously taking up agitation programmes against the TRS government failures.
He said there was no necessity to wage a war against the TRS government, a systematic campaign on its failures would be sufficient for the Congress to come to power in the 2019 elections. He said one need not attack Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao as a person, the party should attack government policies and programmes. He also instructed party leaders not to praise the TRS government in the state or the NDA government at the Centre
He said TPCC chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy would be the “captain” in the 2019 elections. Along with him, party leaders K. Jana Reddy, Shabbir Ali and Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka would continue in their posts.
He said the party may announce its candidates six months before the elections.
Me Kuntia told Congress frontal organisations like the Youth Congress, NSUI, Seva Dal and the women’s wing that though they are appointees of the respective AICC wings, they would need to report to the PCC president.
