Telugu Desum will be left with TANA, says Ram Madhav

The previous government that had taken the responsibility of constructing the Polavaram project had achieved zero progress.

Vijayawada: Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary Ram Madhav told state office bearers of his party that the Telugu Desum will remain to only organise TANA meetings and the BJP will emerge as the alternative force in Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing the state office bearers’ meeting held at Guntur on Sunday, Mr Madhav said that a good platform is being readied for BJP in the state. He urged party leaders to strengthen BJPs foundation in all villages across Andhra Pradesh. He declared that the TD will be erased from the state.

The previous government that had taken the responsibility of constructing the Polavaram project had achieved zero progress. He also said that people who are angry at TD had voted for the YSR Congress. He hinted that there are many more who are ready to join BJP in Andhra Pradesh.

Mr Madhav suggested that the YSRC provide corruption-free government, unlike the one it is replacing, which has been “neck-deep in corruption”.

He accused Mr Naidu's government of misusing the funds sanctioned by the BJP to the state, while the BJP was committed to the development of Andhra Pradesh.

He urged party leaders to strive hard to bring the BJP to power in the state in 2024. He patted himself on the back when he said that the BJP was the only party which had achieved 23 cr votes in the 2019 polls.
