Seeman questions why Rajini featured in school textbook

In his inimitable style, the NTK leader said Rajini was \"deliberately\" included in the text book with some ulterior motive.

Tirunelveli: Naam Tamizhar Katchi (NTK) leader Seeman on Friday slam-med the government for including actor Rajinikanth in the lesson in class-5 text book on persons who have come up the hard way. Why not Kamal Haasan, who had worked even harder to achieve his success in the film industry, asked the NTK chief.

Seeman was asked during a media interaction here to comment on the inclusion of Rajinikanth in the class-5 text book in the lesson that dealt with the 'rags-to-riches' stories featuring people who had slogged hard and made it to the top. In his inimitable style, the NTK leader said Rajini was "deliberately" included in the text book with some ulterior motive.

Actually, Kamal Haasan would have been a far better choice as he had struggled even more on his way up in movies and achieved greater milestones. Better still would be people like Sundar Pichai, the Google CEO, in such a lesson to inspire the young students, Seeman said.

Needless to say Rajini's fans got furious at Seeman's verdict on the school text book. They took to the social media in a big way to vent their anger.
