Hyderabad: MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi lashed out at Congress chief Rahul Gandhi for hosting a “Janeudhari iftar”, which was attended by former President Pranab Mukherjee.
He said there was almost no representation of Muslims at Mr Gandhi’s iftar. “Give a speech at RSS Head Office, praise its founder and comfortably come to Janeudhari Iftar party. If my party contests elections will be called communal and what not but inviting and sharing a table with former president Pranab Mukherjee is “normal, acceptable “Hypocrisy of Highest order (sic),” he tweeted,
He said the Congress was not interested in Muslim empowerment. “They are only trying their level best to get the Hindu vote,” he said.
