YSRC will go alone in assembly elections: Peddireddy

ANANTAPUR: YSRC Rayalaseema regional coordinator Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy made it clear that YSRC will contest the forthcoming AP assembly general elections without allying with any party.

“However many alliances TD president N. Chandrababu Naidu may enter into with other parties, YSRC will contest on its own and win more than 150 seats,” he declared.

The minister for energy asked Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan to first choose an assembly segment from where he will contest. Pawan can then think of other assembly segments in the state, he remarked emphasising on lack of any support for Jana Sena.

Felicitating YSRC mandal conveners in Anantapur district on Sunday, Ramachandra Reddy maintained that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is getting unstinted support from the people of Andhra Pradesh.

That is the reason why parties like TD, BJP and JS are trying to stitch alliances. “Let all parties align against YSRC. Jagan Mohan Reddy will still form the government winning more than 150 seats in the AP assembly,” Ramachandra Reddy declared.

He maintained that people of the state are firm on blessing Jagan Mohan Reddy because of his exclusive welfare schemes, the first in the country.

He ruled out TD leader Nara Lokesh’s Yuvagalam having any impact on the state.
