Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC has donated Rs 10 lakh towards the Chief Minister’s relief fund in the light of Puttingal fireworks tragedy. State Government had already donated Rs 10 lakh each to the dead in Puttingal fireworks tragedy. This decision has been announced by KPCC president V.M. Sudheeran in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday. He also lashed out against CPM leadership for “politicising the Paravur tragedy.”
When time demands the unity of all political parties to undertake relief works in the affected region, what CPM does is demanding home minister Mr. Ramesh Chennithala’s resignation, he alleged. He added that CPM always resorts to creating unwanted political controversies when it should have been avoided.
