Telangana-bPAss to roll out from April 2: KT Rama Rao

He said the stated that the Pattana Pragathi programme will be launched on the lines of a similar programme carried out in the villages.

Hyderabad: Municipal administration K.T. Rama Rao on Friday told with collectors and additional collectors that decentralization and formation of new districts and municipalities was one of the biggest achievements of the government.

“I can proudly say that no other state has brought in so many administrative reforms in such a short time,” he told the officials at an orientation programme on the New Municipal Act and Pattana Pragathi, the urban renewal programme, here.

He said effective implementation of the Municipal Act would change the face of the cities and towns. He said there would be challenges in the initial months of its implementation but it is important to set the tone.

He said the stated that the Pattana Pragathi programme will be launched on the lines of a similar programme carried out in the villages. Mr Rao stated that the TS-bPASS for the construction industry will be rolled out from April 2 and officials should be appropriately trained for it.
