Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee treasurer G. Narayana Reddy, criticised Union home minister Amit Shah’s contention that the BJP) lost the Delhi elections due to a defective campaign.
On Friday, Mr Narayana Reddy, in a statement, alleged that Mr Shah was trying to divert people’s attention from the real issues by giving misleading explanations on the electoral loss.
“People don’t judge political parties on their mode of campaign.
They give their verdict based on the policies being implemented by the ruling party.
Amit Shah should have admitted that BJP was rejected by the people of Delhi for bringing a divisive law on citizenship. Instead of admitting that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has been rejected, BJP leaders are trying to give an impression that they lost for raising issues in an incorrect manner,” he added.
