Bengaluru: Congress leaders met for an early morning breakfast meeting on Monday and later put up a brave face before the media thundering that "nobody can topple this government and let the BJP know this."
The meeting was called on the pretext of discussing "budget preparations" Soon after the meeting, Dr Parameshwar remarked that BJP leaders had for the last 10 months been fixing muhurtas for toppling this government and this is another such muhurta. "I agree some of our MLAs have gone out. They may gone out for a temple visit or tour or on a family vacation," he said.
KPCC president, Dinesh Gundurao said that BJP MLAs are getting in touch with them. Mr Rao added that four to five BJP MLAs are also in touch with them and are keen to join the party.
Refuting the buzz about instability in the coalition, Mr Rao contended that "All is well. This is BJP propaganda and it has been going on for the last 10 months. They just want to show that there is a rift in the Congress-JDS alliance before the 2019 Lok Sabha polls....
