Kurnool: Kurnool MLA M.A. Hafeez Khan on Thursday praised Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for initiating transformative changes in the state's education sector, including providing tabs to enhance the educational prospects of underprivileged children.
“This move is part of YSRC government's broader effort to improve education access and quality,” he underlined.
The MLA participated in the “Vidyarthula Sadhikarata Jaganannathone Sadhyam” campaign organised by YSR Congress in Kurnool. In this regard, the party took out a procession from Raj Vihar junction to the Collectorate via Budhavarpet and GGH Road. This was followed by a public meeting at the Collectorate.
Addressing the gathering, Hafeez Khan criticised what he called anti-government media outlets for spreading misinformation about the government's educational initiatives. He accused these outlets of misrepresenting government's efforts in developing schools and providing resources to poor under the Nadu Nedu programme.
Kurnool mayor B.Y. Ramaiah participated in the event in which students from various educational institutions participated.
