Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday. Mr Modi wrote on Twitter, “Congratulations to KCR Garu on taking oath as the CM of Telangana. Best wishes for his tenure ahead(sic)”.
Home minister Rajnath Singh also congratulated the CM and wished him a successful tenure. Former PM H.D. Deve Gowda and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan sent congratulatrory messages. Former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav said “Under your leadership, Telangana will now move towards a new round of prosperity, peace and harmony (sic)”.
