Telugu Desam misleading people: N Raghuveera Reddy
Vijayawada: APCC president N. Raghuveera Reddy on Thursday accused the Telugu Desam of misleading the public with false commitments and corrupt practices.
Speaking after starting a training camp for APCC official spokespersons here to educate them on the activities by the ruling party, Dr Reddy alleged that the ruling party’s illegal and corrupt activities have expanded to Janmabhoomi committees. He asked the party spokespersons to take this to the public and create awareness among the masses.
Dr Reddy said that Congress has taken this movement to the national level and has got the support of 11 national parties. He urged the Congress cadre to take the failures of the TD to the public as the ruling party is hiding these failures by using its vernacular print and electronic media.
Rajya Sabha member K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao said that TD president N. Chandrababu Naidu compromised on Special Category Status and was contents with packages on Polavaram projects. He said that the Congress would continue its struggle till it succeeds in bringing SCS to AP.
MLC C. Ramachandraiah alleged that the Chief Minister has compromised on SCS to save secret agreements on capital, Swiss Challenge and various other scams.
