Koppal: Primary and secondary education minister Suresh Kumar said that the Vokkaliga community has launched a protest against the BJP-led government at the Centre with an ‘ulterior motive’ while protesting against the arrest of former minister D.K. Shivakumar by the Enforcement Directorate.
Mr Suresh Kumar was speaking to reporters here on Friday.
He said that a false propaganda is being carried out against the Union government claiming that Mr Shivakumar was arrested because he belongs to the Vokkaliga community.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has never indulged in caste based politics, but still a caste colour is given to the arrest of Shivakumar,” the minister said.
