Tamil Nadu cops' hunt for MLA Palaniappan continues

Security beefed up at resort after TTV camp alleges threat.

MLAs stay put in resort to avoid ‘poaching’
Nineteen AIADMK MLAs who are holed up at Paddington Resort, Sunthikoppa, 25 km from Madikeri, the district headquarters of Kodagu district in Karnataka, have reportedly decided to continue to stay there for two more days amidst the political uncertainty in Tamil Nadu.

Sources in the Kodagu police said that the resort was inside the forest and it was pretty inaccessible. “This resort is ideal to keep the MLAs away from poaching,” the sources explained.
