MLC Kalyani Accuses Pawan Kalyan of Pushing Chandrababu Naidu's Agenda
Visakhapatnam: The member of the legislative council Varudu Kalyani has accused Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan of pushing Chandrababu Naidu's agenda during his ongoing Varahi Yatra.
Kalyani said that Pawan Kalyan's visit to Visakhapatnam was proving that he had no love for the city. She also alleged that Pawan Kalyan had made misleading comments about volunteers after he visited a victim's family in Pendurthi.
Kalyani said that the government had already sacked one Venkatesh from the volunteer job after knowing his bad antecedents. She said that Venkatesh had joined as an employee with his female victim's food court after losing his volunteer job.
Kalyani also said that Pawan Kalyan was calling the volunteers by all names, even though 70% of them were women. She cited the murder of a woman by a Jana Sena leader, Madala Srinivasa Rao, as an example of Pawan Kalyan's silence on the crimes committed by his own party members.
Kalyani also accused Pawan Kalyan of never commenting on the TD rule during 2014-2019 during which several women were attacked. She said that the followers of former TD minister Bandaru Satyanara had disrobed a woman and paraded her on the streets of Pendurthi. A BC girl student had also died by suicide, and the TD government had supported the principal of the school who was the prime accused in the case.
