CPI rules out ties with Kerala Congress (M), Muslim League

Thrissur: The CPI does not have a soft corner for both Kerala Congress (M) and Muslim League, party state secretary Kanam Rajendran has said. Mr Rajendran’s comment comes in the wake of an editorial and an article in the CPM mouthpiece ‘Deshabhimani’ that hint at co-operation with the KC (M) and the Muslim League.

“The stand of the CPI is based on the resolution of the party and we are not deviating from it. The person who has written the article could get a clear idea if he reads what EMS has written in Deshabhimani since 1986,” he told mediapersons here on Saturday.
