BJP to release chargesheet against YSRC govt on May 19

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh BJP chief Somu Veerraju announced that the party would release a state-level chargesheet against the ruling YSR Congress government at Gannavaram on May 19.

Taking part in a programme to collect complaints from the people held at Guntur on Saturday, the senior BJP leader said that the party was going to release a charge sheet against the state government from the village level and was conducting meetings to collect complaints from the people in all 175 Assembly segments in the state.

He alleged that the natural resources were being looted in the state while no developmental works were being taken up even as the Centre released funds.

The BJP leader slammed CM Jagan Reddy for failing to hold a review meeting on setting up Ayurveda College as the Centre was ready to construct the institution while the state government was not coming forward to allocate land for it.

He said that the party leaders and activists were collecting evidence pertaining to the irregularities and graft on several issues. He reiterated the party’s stand that Amaravati will be the capital city for AP and said that the Centre was giving Rs 50,000 crore for taking up developmental works in the capital city.
