Chennai: Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa on Friday denied that the announcements made by her under rule 110 were not implemented and listed details of schemes implemented in nine departments.
In a statement here, she said the DMK was resorting to a false campaign that none of the announcements made under 110 were implemented and recalled that she had already listed the announcements implemented in 20 departments.
She listed the schemes including the setting up of fisheries university, modernization of Chennai fishing harbour, storage facilities for milk, single window clearance committee for small, micro and medium industries, besides new godowns for civil supplies department.
The AIADMK leader said 85 procurement centres for paddy had been opened in the delta districts, online facility to view property details, hike of festival advance to government employees from Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000 and increasing the DA for them.
