Chennai: Much ahead of the launch of the poll campaign of its leaders, the BJP has rolled out its social media campaign and has plans to aggressively campaign on the Twitter in the coming weeks.
The bilingual campaign will see the party taking on its political adversaries once the battle lines are drawn. The party, which claims to be No.1 among political parties in the state in terms of its social media presence, has been tweeting the highlights of PM Narendra Modi speeches in Parliament and also his numerous welfare schemes.
Besides voters’ awareness, one of the major campaigns the party had taken up is corruption. A dedicated team of 20 members in the party’s IT cell at state level, apart, various professionals at district and mandal levels are instrumental in taking the campaign forward.
