Hyderabad: While preparations for birthday celebrations of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao are on in full swing with banners coming up across the city, TRS working president K.T. Rama Rao appealed to the party leaders and workers not to splurge money on banners and adverts.
Mr Rao tweeted, “Let each of us plant a sapling to express affection for our leader” instead with #HappyBirthdayKCR. Apart from ‘Each One Plant One’ campaign, the social media wing is asking cadre and well-wishers to take a selfie video wishing the CM. This activity is trending by the name ‘KCR Birthday Greeting Challenge’.
