KANNUR: CPM Kannur district secretary P. Jayarajan on Monday lashed out at Maoists saying their ideology is against the people and it should be opposed, isolated and defeated. He also attacked senior CPI leaders like Kanam Rajendran and Binoy Vishwam for criticising the police for the encounter with the ultras. “We are on earth while some daydreamers are living in the sky. No need to worry about such people’s opinion,” he told reporters here, referring to the CPI leaders’ comments.
On the controversial Fazal murder case, he alleged that the Popular Front leaders visited Kuppi Subeesh after being pressurised by the central investigation agencies. “Kuppi Subeesh has already given a statement to the police that the PF leaders visited him and demanded to change the statement in support of the RSS,” he said.
“The next day (after Fazal murdered) itself, the NDF leaders alleged that the RSS was behind the killing. However, soon they changed plate and accused the CPM leaders. It is after the organisational issues in the RSS, the conspiracy behind Fazal murder came out. Now it is proved that the CPM stand of fielding accused leaders in the election is correct, and those who accused us should now tender an apology,” he said. “Here the Islamic terrorists are supporting Hindu terrorists, and this proved there is no religion for terrorism, and all are helping each other.”
