Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader K. Jana Reddy campaigned in Amberpet on Monday in support of party candidate C. Rohin Reddy.
The two took up door-to-door campaigning, interacted with voters and distributed ‘Six Guarantee’ cards carrying the Congress promises. They urged voters to elect Congress and avail the benefits of six guarantees within 100 days of coming to power.
Jana Reddy said that Rohin Reddy was a young and highly educated leader and appealed to voters, especially young voters, to ensure his victory. He criticised BRS and BJP leaders for undertaking a false propaganda against Rohin Reddy stating that he was a 'non-local'.
Rohin Reddy’s father Dr Muthyam Reddy had been treating poor patients free of cost in the constituency for many decades, Jana Reddy said.
Rohin Reddy said that the Congress would work tirelessly and deliver on its promises. He said that he will develop Amberpet constituency across all fronts in the next five years, if he is elected.
