CPM cadre from Devarapalli join YSRC en mass

Visakhapatnam: Families associated with the CPM in Devarapalli are choosing to align themselves with the YSRC, leaving behind their affiliation with the CPM. A total of 16 families hailing from Pulagaruvu and Ramanna Palem villages in the Devarapalli mandal have officially severed ties with the CPM to join the ranks of the ruling YSRC.

Upon joining the YSRC, these former CPM families emphasised that their decision was influenced by the visible development initiatives spearheaded by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, dispelling any misconceptions they may have had.

Interestingly, an additional 17 families from Kotapalli village had previously made the switch to the YSRC. The latest conversion of the remaining two villages' CPM cadre into members of the ruling party took place in the presence of deputy chief minister Budi Muthyalanaidu.

Specifically, eleven families from Pulagaruvu and five from Ramanna Palem have now aligned themselves with the YSRC. Deputy chief minister Budi Muthyalanaidu, speaking at the event, remarked, "The migration of these CPM members serves as a testament to CM Jagan's successful development model." Budi also expressed enthusiasm about the substantial number of people from tribal villages joining the YSRC, viewing it as a positive indicator for the party.
