Hyderabad: Irrigation minister T. Harish Rao alleged that the Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS) president Prof. M. Kodandaram supported the Congress indirectly in the 2014 Assembly elections. He was doing so directly now, the TRS leader said.
TJS Sangareddy district secretary Nagesh joined the TRS along with his followers apart from the Private employee’s union leaders in the presence of Mr Harish Rao at Telangana Bhavan, on Monday.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Harish Rao alleged that Prof. Kodandaram had become a “slave to Delhi"” for just four Assembly seats.
He said that Prof. Kodandaram was made chief of the Telangana Joint Action Committee by the TRS in the Telangana movement, but now he was ditching the party.
Mr Harish Rao said that when the TD and Congress targeted Prof. Kodandaram, the TRS had come to his rescue. He said that the TJS chief was showing his true colours. He said that Prof. Kodandaram should answer to the people of Telangana state, for joining hands with the TD.
