Vijayawada: TD MLA and politburo member Nandamuri Balakrishna has alleged political vendetta in the arrest of the party chief Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking to the media at Mangalagiri on Tuesday, the TD legislator alleged that a misinformation campaign was undertaken by the YSRC in relation to the skill development project and claimed violation of norms, corruption and diversion of funds. “It was unfortunate to undermine the project meant for the future of the state’s young generation, by alleging a scam. If so, why were the officials involved in execution of the project and release of funds not questioned so far,” he asked.
He said that Telugu Desam was born out of the brave heart of NTR to promote the self-respect of the Telugu people. He sounded confident that Chandrababu Naidu would come out of the cases without any scar on his image.
Balakrishna called upon the people to fight for their rights and said if they sit quiet, their silence would cause a major loss to the state.
